Professional development for teachers and staff

2025 Professional development sessions

Schools

We support teachers to make it easier to teach tamariki about food, nutrition, movement, and healthy living. Our resources, programmes, and initiatives are curriculum-aligned and practical, giving you the tools and confidence to help children build lifelong healthy habits. Learn why these skills matter and get practical, engaging ideas and resources for primary, intermediate, and secondary schools.

Early learning

Smart summer active play

We all want our tamariki and early childhood community to be able to learn and play outdoors, but as educators we need to support children and their whānau to know the risks of dehydration and prolonged exposure to the sun’s UV rays. We’ll also cover the important role vitamin D has in our bodies.  Join us for a joint session with the Cancer Society.
