
Banana bread
Here's a low sugar banana bread recipe with some added goodness. You'll love it!

Method
- Heat oven to 180°C.
- Grease a loaf tin with oil and lightly dust with flour.
- In a mixing bowl mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the egg, oil and milk and mix together.
- Sift in flour and baking powder and fold gently into wet ingredients.
- Pour mixture into the loaf tin and bake for approximately 1 hour, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing from the tin.
Tips
- You can also add ½ cup of walnuts if desired. If you don’t have both types of flour use whatever is in your cupboard.
