Leave a gift in your Will

Why leave a gift in your will | bequest?

You will help support advances in life-saving heart research and people living with heart disease

Those who came before us made many of today’s medical breakthroughs possible. Every year, gifts in Wills from kind people like you help fund our life-saving heart research.

By leaving a gift to the Heart Foundation in your Will, you will provide the long-term funding needed to enable projects that investigate new treatments and diagnostic techniques, as well as give emerging cardiologists the opportunity to train overseas and bring life-saving knowledge back home. Simply put, your gift will help to save and improve the lives of New Zealanders affected by heart disease, well after you’ve passed on.

Your gift in Will, will ensure we can provide life-changing support to people with heart disease. We do this through the following:

  • The high-quality care we provide for people living with heart disease.
  • The education and heart-health programmes we run in the community about the symptoms and risk factors that help prevent heart disease.
  • The care guidelines and resources we provide to health professionals.
