Method
- Heat oven to 225°C.
- Mix all ingredients together and knead until a little bit sticky.
- Roll into small bite sized balls and place on a lightly greased roasting tray.
- Roast in oven for approximately 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
- Remove from oven and serve hot or allow to cool on the tray.
- 350 gbeef, lamb or pork mince
- 2medium carrots, finely minced
- 1 clovegarlic, crushed
- 1egg
- 1 cupdry wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 2 tbspfresh herbs, chopped (eg parsley, chervil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, sage)
- 1 tsplemon zest, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsptomato paste
