Nut butter

Super easy, totally delicious and a good money saver.

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Spread nuts out on a roasting tray and place in oven
  3. Stir the nuts every 5 minutes to prevent them from burning and roast until golden brown (approx. 30 minutes)
  4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely, approximately 30 minutes
  5. Place in a food processor along with oil and blend until smooth
  6. This may take some time depending on the power of your food processor so please be patient
  7. Keep in a sealed container

Any combination of nuts is good for this recipe.  Use what you have available or create your own special blend.
