
Chicken gyros loaded fries
Quite possibly the most flavour-packed Greek gyros with oven-baked fries you’ll ever taste brought to you by Bargain Box. Served together with a spiced feta dip, a sliced almond topping, and a classic Greek salad, we’ve brought the flavours of Mediterranean street food to your table.

Method
Roast it
- Preheat oven to 230°C (or 210°C fan bake).
- Cut potatoes and carrots into chips.
- Toss on 1-2 lined oven trays with pepper, and oil.
- Roast for about 25 minutes, until tender and golden.
Whip it
- Crumble feta into a bowl and mix with milk and 1 tsp of Moroccan seasoning until smooth.
Cook it
- Pat chicken dry and cut into steaks by placing your hand flat on top of chicken and slice through horizontally.
- In a bowl, toss chicken with 2 tsp Moroccan seasoning and lightly season with salt.
- Heat oil in a fry pan on medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 3-5 minutes each side (depending on thickness), or until cooked through.
- Set aside to rest, covered for a few minutes, before slicing thickly.
Dice it
- Meanwhile, dice tomato and cucumber.
- Toss in a bowl with vinegar.
Eat it
- Serve fries hot with chicken and salad.
- Dollop feta dip on top and sprinkle over almonds.
