Creamy chicken pasta
Comfort food at its finest. This is a tasty pasta meal the whole family will look forward to.

Method:
- Heat oil in a pot and add flour.
- Stir and cook for approximately one minute over a medium heat.
- Gradually add milk in small amounts, mixing until smooth with each pour.
- Continue until all milk has been added.
- Return to low heat and bring to a simmer, stirring often.
- Stir through grated cheese to melt.
- Add tomato paste and mix well, then remove from heat.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta until nearly cooked.
- Add broccoli to pasta and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the pasta and broccoli are cooked.
- Drain pasta and broccoli and return to the pot.
- Mix through the sauce and cooked chicken, then serve.
Tips:
- Use any type of dried pasta such as spaghetti, penne or spirals.
- Use green beans, cauliflower, peas or corn instead of broccoli. Fresh or frozen will work fine.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, sour cream, grated cheese or cracked pepper.
