Roasted tomato and sunflower seed sauce
A very easy, delicious and nutritious sauce that’s great with just about anything.

Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C
- Place tomato, garlic and onion in a roasting dish and drizzle with oil
- Roast for approximately 30 minutes or until beginning to brown
- Sprinkle sunflower seeds over the top and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes or until the sunflower seeds are lightly browned
- Remove from the oven and place in a blender with the remaining ingredients
- Blend until smooth

- This sauce is great served with a variety of foods including, boiled eggs, grilled meats, pasta, fish, or steamed vegetables.
