Here’s an easy scone recipe that can be adapted endlessly to suit any tastes.

Method
- Heat oven to 200°C
- Sift together the dry ingredients
- If adding sweet or savoury ingredients, add now and mix through the dry ingredients
- Gently mix in the oil, yoghurt and milk with the dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to knead too much or the dough will become stiff and make tough scones.
- Press dough out into rectangle approximately 3cm thick
- Cut dough into 12 even pieces and place on a greased baking tray
- Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving
