Tuna pasta salad

Here's a light and easy-to-prepare tuna pasta salad recipe. Make a batch for the week and eat it for lunch.

Method

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to the boil
  2. Stir in the pasta, return to a boil. Leave uncovered, stirring occasionally until the pasta has cooked through
  3. Drain and rinse the pasta in cold water
  4. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta with onion, capsicum, cucumber, tomato, herbs, tuna and lemon juice 
  5. Toss lightly until throughly combined.

Portions

This recipe has been developed for early learning centres.  As such the number of portions reflects small children’s appetites.  This recipe will feed approximately 4-5 adults.

Tips:

  • Add any extra fresh, frozen or canned vegetables you have on hand to this meal.

    can of tuna in spring water, drained and flaked
