What will I learn?

We cover a range of topics that can be tailored based on the needs of your health workforce.

Nutrition and heart health education  

This course covers various nutrition topics, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary for effectively engaging with Pacific communities. 

Pacific cultural engagement  

This course explores cultural perspectives on food, focusing on some Pacific dietary practices and their impact on health. It provides practical strategies for effectively engaging with Pacific communities to promote positive health outcomes. 

Our training team will collaborate with you to design a suitable course for your workplace. It can be delivered either in person or online. We require a minimum of 15 people and a maximum of 30. On completion of the course, you will receive a Pacific Heartbeat Certificate of Attendance.  

Please note - a venue which meets our requirements must be organised by the group requesting training.

Cost: $40 per person.
