Pacific Heartbeat team
The Pacific Heartbeat team is dedicated to improving the heart health of Pacific communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Pacific community in New Zealand loses more loved ones to heart disease than to any other single cause. Nearly half of them are lost before the age of 70.
The Heart Foundation’s Pacific Heartbeat team is dedicated to changing those statistics.
Our mission is to empower Pasifika communities by championing change, equity, and heart health education – so that we can all enjoy long, fulfilling lives.
Pacific Heartbeat offers a range of courses to support Pacific communities, and people who work with Pacific peoples, to increase their skills and knowledge around food and health.
