Lesson 2 - Adventures of kai

We often purchase kai from the supermarket but don’t always know where it really comes from. Let your ākonga explore the adventures of kai by travelling with it from its original source to the table.

In this lesson ākonga will learn where kai comes from before it is served as a meal.

Learning outcome

Ākonga can:

  • understand and have an appreciation of where kai comes from
  • create a sequence of events.
